DEPTA is Ridgewed's own pump system software, developed in-house for design and maintenance work. It applies the Darcy–Weisbach, Colebrook and Durand formulae to calculate system resistance, friction losses, duty points and slurry transport velocities.

It is why we size equipment against measured hydraulics rather than catalogue assumptions — and it is the capability that underpinned our hydraulic analysis work at Hwange Power Station.

DEPTA carries both a design module and a maintenance module, so the same model that sizes a system is used to monitor it in service.
